By wjmadden Not a medical claim, but of interest for its consideration of legitimate forensic purpose in the issue of a subpoena in a matter where the claimant alleged head injury (concussion) sustained in course of employment as a professional rugby league player. The court was required to consider whether documents relating to treatment of other players with concussive head injuries were relevant to plaintiff’s claim against his employer: McManus v Knights Rugby League Pty Ltd [2017] NSWSC 1101.
